-- AmandaSheelar - 21 Oct 2005 Part A: Before attending college I was very frightened about my educational status. I was afraid college was going to be a challenge, a challenge that I was not ready for. This week however has proved otherwise, especially in my biology classroom. This week was my biology midterm, and naturally I was nervous. Thankfully my professor provided a study session for those in need of academic aid. This classroom activity was extremely beneficial and appreciated. For this was the first time I had left a biology classroom with complete confidence. It helped me look at college with more enthusiasm than apprehension.

Part B: I am excited to report that I have fully enjoyed living in the dorms these past three weeks. Although many people are hours from home, and missing their biological families, we have formed a different kind of family here at school. This family was visibly presented this week as our hall decorated for Halloween. We demonstrated teamwork as well as passion towards a common goal. In the end we all have become very proud of our decorated hall, and our family. However, we are now impatiently waiting for Halloweens arrival.
