Part A:
Before attending college I was very frightened about my educational status. I was afraid college was going to be a challenge, a challenge that I was not ready for. This week however has proved otherwise, especially in my biology classroom. This week was my biology midterm, and naturally I was nervous. Thankfully my professor provided a study session for those in need of academic aid. This classroom activity was extremely beneficial and appreciated. For this was the first time I had left a biology classroom with complete confidence. It helped me look at college with more enthusiasm than apprehension.
Part B:
I am excited to report that I have fully enjoyed living in the dorms these past three weeks. Although many people are hours from home, and missing their biological families, we have formed a different kind of family here at school. This family was visibly presented this week as our hall decorated for Halloween. We demonstrated teamwork as well as passion towards a common goal. In the end we all have become very proud of our decorated hall, and our family. However, we are now impatiently waiting for Halloweens arrival.
Part A:
This week in English we were assigned our first, but not last group project. Proper groups included five to six people, however our group had three. We had little time to complete the project, and we were unsure about our professors’ expectations.
In was fully astonished that the members of my group were very eager and willing to start on our project. I was amazed to find that our project was successfully completed. This has shown me what a positive educational experience this university can offer, and it makes me eager to encounter more.
Part B:
Over the weekend I made an effort to fraternize with my younger sister and her new boyfriend. In doing so we invited him to our home and ate dinner. After we had finished a rather quiet awkward dinner we decided to finish up the night with a little competition. My sister had told me that her boyfriend (Bret) was a first-class basketball player. When we dropped him off later that night I gave my sister the approval she had been waiting for. Now all she needed was the approval of our very protective dad.
