Weekly Reflections 10/10-10/14
A professor was complimenting the most memorable event this week. I was sort of shocked to receive such a compliment. I was told that I was a good student, and that I am doing well in the class. As a result of the professor’s compliment, I am even more determined to work hard in the class. I want to earn a really good grade, but I know I can only achieve my goal; if I put in 100% of my effort. I am going to persevere whenever I might feel overwhelmed or confused. I plan to ask for help if needed, and stay consistent with my work habits. I know that if I focus, I will become a better student, and that is my ultimate goal.
This week I was involved with several clubs. On Tuesday, I went to Club Ed and Campus Crusade for Christ. Then on Thursday, I went to College Republicans. All of these clubs will aid me in becoming a stronger student, and a good community member. Club Ed will help me in being an informed future-teacher. The club will allow me to be involved with the community; by volunteering at the schools. In addition to volunteering, my spiritual life is also very important. Being with fellow Christians is a great way for me to grow, and to make new friends. Finally, being a member of College Republicans will help me to be more informed. I feel that I can be a better citizen if I am informed on a variety of issues. All of these clubs will be a positive influence in my life, and I will have a good experience at WOU because of them.
