3D Printing

stereoscopic image or 3-D (three-dimensional) imaging is any technique capable of recording three-dimensional visual information or creating the illusion of depth in an image. The illusion of depth in a photograph, movie, or other two-dimensional image is created by presenting a slightly different image to each eye. -- "www.wikipedia.org'- 18 Feb 2007

Principium:

Because we use two eyes to view this world, the same object in space are slightly different from two eye points. With the pictures presented differently by each eye, people recieve a perception of depth and distance which can make the view stereoscopic.

Application:

People are using that fundamental knowledge to produce many new technologies such as 'double camera steroscopic video', 'campatible transmission of stereoscopic video' , and 'Stereoscopic 3-D Imaging'.

Nowadays 3D imaging is applying to produce not only for industral and scientific using but also for programing and entertainment such as digital illustration , games and animations movies.
