Wiki Examples

One of the best examples of a Wiki is Wikipedia. This worldwide encyclopedia is one of the 75 most popular websites in the world, and it is available for you to edit. The entire site is built from different people’s research. Many of the articles are written by several different people. Wikipedia is available in over 200 different languages, 100 of which are active. You are encouraged to write your own articles and participate in other peoples. There is currently over 640,000 articles in the English section alone, and it is growing quickly.

Some other good examples of Wikis are http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Main_Page, http://wiki.webelements.info/HomePage, http://www.math.tu-berlin.de/geometrie/f5/wiki/index.php/JReality_wiki. The Subjects of these Wikis vary but they are all informative sites. With the hopes that many people participate in the editing and the writing process.
