Definition

WIKI technology is the technology that provided in WIKI web pages, that contain articles about any topic and allow you to add, delete or even update those articles by the way that you think is true or even you like. So, it is allow to any body to add, delete or change in those articles in order to exchange and update the information among the public.

Description

WIKI is software that apply to the web server supported by some tools for adding, deleting and update the text in order to provide the service to any body. History

WIKI is the shortcut of the Hawaiian word WIKI WIKI which means fast. Ward Cunningham who named this technology, had the name from the shuttle bus of Honolulu International Airport which called WIKI WIKI. However, some times WIKI means "what I know is". The idea of WIKI is to develop the privet and public knowledge through web pages that allow for the users to add and update the information.
