Formatting Text
There are many ways to format your text in wiki. The most basic commands are, bolding, italics, using bullets, creating headings/subjections (just like an outline), hypertext links (links to another webpage), and monospaced words (This same information is listed at the bottom of every edit screen).
Of course there are many more ways to edit text, but here are a few to get your started.
- bold - put word/phrase in asterisks: "your phrase" (replace " with *)
Example. cheeseburger becomes
cheeseburger
- bullet have 3 spaces, asterisk (*), and 1 space all before you line of text.
Example.
Eating is good for studing. (no bullet)
- sleeping is good for studing. (bullet)
- headings will need to have 3 dashes (-), 1 to 6 pluses (+), and 1 space all before your text.
Example.
one plus
two pluses
- apparently the ammount of "+" pertains to size of text. edit this later.
- italic put underscores (_) before and after the word/phrase.
