The experiences I had in high school greatly contrast the situation I am now thrown into, here at Western Oregon. I like the fact that as college students, we get to choose from a broader span of courses. I chose many of my classes according to what I found interesting in my previous high school classes. However, I have not learned much new material, and it seems the courses are remedial. Upperclassman have assured me that the classes will get more interesting and challenging as the year develops. I am still involved in sports as I was in high school, and I have been using that as a constant, when everything around me seems to be new. 2.) As a student and a learner my strength is my interest in the subjects my courses focus on, but my weakness my lack of attention when we constantly review. It is easy to get involved in any extracurricular activities and my dedication to track has helped me to be a steady part of the team. However, there are so many different things to do, it can be overwhelming. 3.) I would like to improve on my time management skills, and my study time this term. This will help me get better grades and be less stressed when school becomes more demanding. 4.) I can improve on these by going to bed at a decent hour. Also, sticking to a set schedule would improve my juggling of social and school activities. " (* z | (2"'( ) @S
